Temple Tiger Jungle Lodges and Wildlife Camp is situated on the far western side of Royal Chitwan National Park and enjoys a wonderful location for game viewing. Each of the chalets has a balcony over looking the park and is well equipped with eiderdowns for those chilly winter mornings. There is a pleasant bar surrounding an open fire where nature talks are given in the evenings and a separate restaurant serving Nepalese and continental cuisine. In addition there is a small library and separate look out deck where it's fun to meet for sun downers and chat about the day's sightings. As this lodge is in the heart of the park there is no electricity and generators provide light and hot water in the mornings and evenings. Jungle safaris on elephant back or by jeep are arranged as well as nature walks accompanied by well-trained naturalists.
* Temple Tiger is currently closed. We will report back when it reopens.
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road, Healthy, free, the world before me, The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.Walt Whitman
