Linyanti and Selinda

Seclusion, wilderness and exclusivity make these areas very special indeed. Both Linyanti and Selinda regions lie sandwiched between the Chobe National Park to the east and the Okavango to the south. The beautiful Kwando River flows south from Angola into Botswana filling the Linyanti Swamps before weaving its way seamlessly into the ancient watercourse of the Selinda Spillway, which is miraculously fed from the South East by the Okavango Delta.  This is real African big game country and is home to a breath-taking and unrivalled list of animals including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo, waterbuck, reedbuck, giraffe, impala, kudu, hyena, jackal, serval and caracal. It is also home to one of the largest populations of wild dog left in the world.   

We believe that the greatest attraction of this part of Botswana is the feeling that it evokes of extreme isolation and of being removed from the world as we know it and being part of something much greater.
