This fascinating holiday takes you on a journey into the historical world heritage site of Ilha de Mozambique in the north of Mozambique. Ilha de Mozambique was once Mozambique’s capital city for many centuries and it is steeped in history and culture. The trip begins with an international flight into Johannesburg, South Africa where there is a connecting flight to Nampula airport. From Nampula, a short 10-minute private road transfer takes you to Coral Lodge 15:41. This charming and privately owned and run lodge provides the perfect base from which to explore the area as well as partake in the many activities available including snorkelling, canoeing, windsurfing, whale watching and marvelling at the fascinating city and villages nearby on organised village visits. 

On your last day, you will be transferred back to Nampula airport in time to connect with the scheduled South African Airlink flight back to Johannesburg for your ongoing arrangements or perhaps indulge a little more by adding on another week’s safari in either Botswana or South Africa.
