Perfectly situated along the beautiful Garden Route, Alkira Lodge is a real delight from the moment you walk through the doors. With only five beautiful and luxurious suites and rooms, the lodge enjoys breath-taking views over the Knysna Estuary, the Whale Sanctuary and the pristine white beaches beyond. Set in a private nature reserve with abundant bird life, the lodge setting is as peaceful as it is spectacular. 

Integrating with the surrounding nature, the lodge combines natural textures making use of local wood and stone. The main lodge features indoor and outdoor breakfast dining, a lounge, library, games room, infinity pool, heated jacuzzi and an extensive sun terrace on which to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. For the evenings and during the cooler months there are cosy fireplaces creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. 

A short distance from the lodge is an exclusive and beautifully appointed 3-bedroom chalet which is a super option for families.

Knysna's town centre is 4.3 miles away and the stunning Brenton Beach is within walking distance. A range of activities are offered in the area, such as golfing, fishing and canoeing. Discounted golf at popular local courses is offered to guests and assistance is available for planning activities each day.
