Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel is centrally located at the foot of Mandalay Hill. The rooms offer panoramic views of the city, one side looking to the sacred ground of Mandalay Hill and its pagodas, and the other to the Royal palace and its beautiful moat.

This hotel has a split personality; on first impressions it rather corporate, but very comfortable nevertheless. The main building is grand and modern, suiting international tastes. However, delve a little deeper and you will discover its other side; a return to its roots with an elegant traditional spa, a calming pool area with lush tropical gardens, and the Mandalar Villas – a highlight of this hotel. In the main building, Kipling's Lounge is one of the most happening bars in town with live music and a good atmosphere. At the hotel's main restaurant, there is an offering of local and European fares, as well as a BBQ dinner where you can choose what goes on the grill.

The Mandalay Hill Resort is not a boutique hotel nor is it as charming as other hotels in Burma (Myanmar), however this hotel is one of the best options in Mandalay when looking for comfort and attentive service after a day exploring this fascinating city.
