The Pandaw II is a replica of a colonial era river steamer with an ultra shallow hull, allowing access to remote locations and previously unexplored areas. The boat is constructed in a traditional 1920s style with spacious air-conditioned cabins leading off external walk ways, finished in teak and brass. Main and upper deck cabins are spacious with en suite bathrooms, mini-safe, luggage storage, wardrobe and a writing desk. All upper and main deck cabins have their own deck space with traditional Myanmarese rattan table and chairs outside the cabins. All meals are served in the dining room on the Main Deck, breakfast is a buffet, and lunch and dinner are a la carte. Meals are a fusion of Asian and Western cuisine, Pandaw's policy is to use as much locally purchased produce as possible to help the economies of the villages and towns along the route. The sundeck has rattan loungers and a 24 hour honesty bar. The Pandaw is a very comfortable boat with exceptional but discreet service and intrepid, adventurous excursions.
