Burma’s (Myanmar's) most historic hotel, The Strand Hotel in Yangon, is launching it’s very own cruise ship, RV Strand. First sailing in early 2016, this luxury river vessel mirrors the heritage style and emulate the reputation of her sister land based property.

Each of the 27 luxurious cabins are decorated with Burmese craftsmanship with teakwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can cruise the Irrawaddy in perfect style and comfort with 24 hour butler service and en-suite bathrooms, but the ultimate retreat would be a stay in the Strand Suite, which includes a private outdoor balcony. The fine dining restaurant on board offers delicious dishes from around the world and panoramic views of the Irrawaddy and for special occasions, guest can enjoy alfresco dining. Other facilities available include a relaxing spa, custom made pool, fitness centre and a library situated on the upper desk.
