With a classic French colonial exterior and stylish cool interior, the Heritage Suites Hotel is a 12 years old charming boutique hotel, located on the quiet side of the river in Siem Reap.

The hotel is made up of a collection of 26 intimate, minimalist boutique bungalows, including twenty suites dotted around the hotel's lush tropical gardens. In contrast to the hotel's colonial feel and classic influences, the rooms feel fresh and contemporary, with hints of Scandinavian sophistication. White washed walls, dark wooden floors and modern and minimalist furniture make Heritage Suites Hotel one of the most unique boutique options. We would recommend staying in one of the spacious villa suites, which are some of the best in town. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook private walled gardens where you can shower in the shade of the palm trees, private steam rooms and giant free-standing bathtubs in the centre of each room. The Heritage Suites Hotel is the perfect bolthole for couples seeking the ultimate relaxation after exploring the sights of Siem Reap.

The main building combines old-world colonial charm with 1960s retro cool, and a brushed chrome bar and contemporary shining mirrors provide a stylish spot to relax in the downstairs cocktail bar. Here guests can enjoy relaxed dining, and once a week a live jazz evening will delight guests. The mezzanine floor above is dedicated to fine dining, where the Heritage Restaurant serves excellent Khmer and European cuisine accompanied by great wines in a smart, French style environment with views down into the bar and lounge. Outside is the fabulous shaded swimming pool, and the Pool Bar is the perfect spot for pre-dinner cocktails and light snacks.

The hotel has a variety of exciting and different activities on offer; quad-biking through the forest to discover secret temples, spend the night in their jungle camp or take a private yacht cruise on Asia’s largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap. Or just simply soak up your surroundings by the salt water swimming pool, enjoy vintage car trips around Siem Reap or relax in one of the many outdoor tubs.
