This impressive 21st century resort lies on a gentle slope between lush rice paddies and beautiful black velvet beaches overlooking the rolling waves of the Indian Ocean. The luxurious villas all with their own pool are perfectly positioned to enjoy panoramic views of either the ocean or sprawling rice paddies. The crisp palate used throughout the hotel mirrors its natural surroundings picking up on the blacks and greys of the volcanic sand set off with great affect with the creams and whites seen in the crashing surf and brilliant light. The spa is a design triumph here again there is a play of light and dark - the aqua roof fills the spa with a soothing spectrum of watery light whilst the dark walls and low mood lighting create a cocoon of peace and quiet.
