The Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta Hotel is situated in the scenic outskirts of north-western Yogyakarta, elegantly set in 22 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens. The idyllic location affords stunning views of Mount Merapi (the sacred mountain of Java), Seribu Mountain and Java's beautiful landscape.

The style of the hotel is fresh and modern yet still retains its Indonesian charm, and sweet smells of cinnamon and lemongrass will welcome you as you enter the marble reception. Situated 20 minutes from Yogyakarta city centre with its own 9-hole golf course, this resort is perfectly placed for a balance between exploring and relaxing. The list of activities at the Hyatt Regency goes on and on; luxury spa, cycling tours, day camping for children, fishing, picnics, private romantic dinners, yoga, local village tours, gymnasium, kids club, and transfers to Yogyakarta.

This is one of the larger Indonesian hotels on our roster with 269 rooms, however it does not feel crowded. Rooms are light and airy and all have views over the lush gardens. The hotel pays homage to the architecture of the great Borobudur temple, and rises in staggered levels up to centre point. The pool is a lagoon style and circles a tropical pool bar. A hotel perfect for leisure time.
