This tour of Delhi, Agra & Rajasthan has been put together to represent the kaleidoscopic colours that can be witnessed whilst travelling through the princely state. Start by exploring the capital, Delhi, and its stark juxtaposition from the bustling Chandni Chowk of Old Delhi to the tree-lined avenues around Connaught Place of New Delhi. From here travel to Agra, home of the impressive Taj Mahal. Continue into Rajasthan where the colours begin to jump out from all directions, from the ladies vibrant saris to the cities buildings. Take in the 'pink city' of Jaipur before driving west to Mihir Garh, a fabulous boutique hotel resembling a Rajasthani fort floating in the middle of the desert. Continue further west into the Thar desert to visit the ancient fortified settlement of Jaisalmer. Return to the 'blue city' of Jodhpur and stroll around the bazaars with their spices, tie-dye fabrics and puppets, and visit the Meherangarh Fort. End the trip in the romantic city of Udaipur and take a boat ride on the shimmering Lake Picchola.
