The perfect short tour of Nepal combining the cultural, scenic and natural wonders of this fascinating country. Spend time exploring Kathmandu and the surrounding valley with its ancient Hindu and Buddhist sites which still draw thousands of pilgrims every day. Continue to Pokhara which is renowned for its wonderful Himalayan views, particularly Fishtail Mountain where you can appreciate the views whilst walking in the area and taking a boat ride on Lake Phewa. Drive to Chitwan National Park, where one horned rhino and Bengal tiger may be viewed from elephant back. Fly back to Kathmandu and spend the final night in a mountain resort outside of the city with lovely views before returning to the UK. As the international flights are via Delhi, it is easy to add on some time in Northern India. This tour is purely a suggested itinerary.
