The Mekong gives life to delta towns in Vietnam and Cambodia, and on this journey you will travel to small riverside villages and past sleepy temples that, being inaccessible by road, are well off the tourist trail. The journey ends at the majestic temples of Angkor. This journey can also be done in reverse. This luxury tour is purely a suggested itinerary. Itinerary Details

Day 1 - In Transit

Overnight flight to Saigon via Bangkok

Day 2 - Caravelle - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Morning arrival in Saigon. Take a private tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Day 3 - Caravelle - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Full day city tour with private guide

Day 4 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Embark the Pandaw Cruise for 7 nights. Cruise past floating markets and villages to Cai Bei.

Day 5 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Visit Cai Bei's floating market and visit the French Colonial town.

Day 6 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Travel through canals and backwaters and take a trishaw ride through the town of Chau Doc. Continue to the Cambodian border.

Day 7 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Phnom Penh

Arrive at Phnom Penh and take a tour to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and an optional tour to the Killing Fields.

Day 8 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Phnom Penh

Travel upstream from Phnom Penh to a silk weaving village, at leisure to explore the village.

Day 9 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Phnom Penh

Journey upriver to the hilltop pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey and later the temple of Wat Nokor.

Day 10 - RV Pandaw Cruises - Phnom Penh

Sail up the Tonle River, watching villages, temples and markets pass by.

Day 11 - La Residence D'Angkor - Siem Reap

Arrive on the Tonle Sap Lake from where you will be transferred to Siem Reap. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 12 - La Residence D'Angkor - Siem Reap

Full Day private sightseeing at the Angkor Temples.
