At the heart of Osaka is Midosuji, the city's most exclusive shopping street, where the St. Regis is located. It affords some of the best views of the city, particularly from the 12th floor terrace and the suites on the higher floors. The discerning Japanese person's taste for fine French and Italian dining is well catered for at the hotel's two elegant restaurants, Rue D'Or and La Veduta.

Each of the 160 rooms have plush furnishings and Japanese ceramics by contemporary artists to complement the luxurious beds and marble bathrooms. Themed suites such as Lily, Iris and Camellia are designed to reflect these flowers, and each has a deep-soaking bathtub (relatively rare in Japan) and excellent views.
