Overlooking the stunning Hozugawa River, Suiran is ideally located near to popular tourist sites, including the Togetsukyo Bridge and, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tenryuji Temple.

Opened in spring 2015, this intimate hotel, has 39 spacious and bright room, which are reminiscent of chic ryokans and have a reoccurring ‘moon’ theme running throughout. The hotel renovated two nearby historical structures, so that they could be used as a café and restaurant. These distinctive dining venues offer guests a combination of gourmet cuisine and local flavours, which can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the beautiful surroundings and scenery.
