This is an all-suite, all ocean-view property located just a few minutes' buggy ride from the larger Busena Terrace property. All suites are ocean facing and there is an excellent saltwater terrazzo pool and golf course on the other. All Suite guests have access to the main hotels pools and restaurants, but the Suites are exclusively for over-16s which makes them perfect for honeymooners and those seeking tranquillity in high season. The lounge, bar and French restaurant on the ground floor are all open to the ocean and a short stroll to the beach. The Okinawan owner has added various charming local touches to the western-style suites, such as kaleidoscopes full of local shells and traditional ryukuan design motifs. The open-plan design with sliding doors across the bedrooms and bathrooms means the ocean can be seen from both, as well as day beds on the terrace balconies. This is Ampersand's recommendation for a stay on the main island of Okinawa.
