Tad Lo Lodge

Tadlo Lodge is a simple rustic set of ensuite bungalows on stilts, beside the most impressive waterfall on the Bolaven Plateau. The bungalows are reached by a short walk through the forest, so lanterns are provided for those walking down to the nearby set of restaurants and guesthouses. Breakfasts and dinners on Tadlo Lodge's veranda are perfectly decent though, and views of the waterfall and also the evening bathing of Tadlo's two elephants can be enjoyed from here. For the more intrepid there are off-road bikes available for rental, to explore this beautiful area which has yet to be inundated by the backpacker crowd that tend to congregate further north in Vang Vieng.
