Lying on the shores of Lake Vembanad, this tranquil property began with a pretty bungalow, formerly a boathouse and has since added an authentic Keralan cottage transplanted to a spot in the garden surrounded by a lotus pond. It is the perfect place to read, write, take gentle boat rides on the lake, swim in the pool or simply sit on the veranda and watch life on the lake unfolding silently before you. Peace and quiet, beautiful views and great food make it an absolute haven. The lakeside cottage has two ensuite bedrooms and living room and the Keralan cottage has a further two rooms linked by a shared living area. The design is distinctive with contemporary features whilst drawing on traditional local arts and culture. Fully staffed, it is the ideal place to get away from the masses and completely switch off and would suit a group of friends or a family perfectly.
