This is a charming 8 bedroom hotel situated on the coast at Tranquebar, overlooking the restored Danish fort of Tarangambadi. The spacious rooms are all tastefully furnished with a mixture of contemporary and colonial design, each with a small bathroom. A fascinating town due to its history as a Danish settlement from 1620 to 1845, you can still wander around and see the colonial architecture on display in the mansion houses, many of which have now been converted into schools and other enterprises.
