This chic, minimalist hotel is an oasis of cool located in the middle of Koh Samui's most popular beach, Chaweng. The 26 rooms, on either side of well kept lawns leading towards the pool and beach, are either on the ground floor with an open air living room or upstairs with a balcony. The rooms are decorated in a striking palette of black or white with all mod cons including iMacs, broadband, a large plasma screens and DVD players, best of all is the super sized light box which adds a burst of vibrant colour which you can change to suit your mood. There is also a well stocked library offering books, CDs and a huge range of DVDs and an attractive though compact gym. The lively beach side restaurant and bar are a favourite local hotspot. The piece de résistance is the startling red pool which successfully draws together the bold design features of the hotel and is the perfect finishing touch.
