Ballymaloe Guest House is the sister property to the famous Ballymaloe Cookery School and is an elegant Georgian manor house located on an informal family-run country estate not far from Midleton. Rooms are located within the main house and are cosy, incredibly comfortable and have a homely feel; tall period ceilings and garden views add a real sense of place and the award-winning restaurant is worth experiencing. In addition to the nearby cookery school there is plenty to do in the area; walk to the nearby seaside village of Ballycotton, spend a day on one of the many nearby beaches or relax on the estate. A great gift-shop selling local Irish crafts is also located onsite.
