The Beaumont
London
Opened in October 2014, The Beaumont is the Art Deco masterpiece by celebrated restauranteurs Corbin & King, who are behind a selection of London's most famous restaurants; including The Ivy, The Wolseley, The Delauney and most recently Café Colbert and Fischer's. Known for their tasteful modern interpretations of classic Art Deco and fin de siecle style, The Beaumont is the duo's first foray into the hotel world. Sleek and sophisticated, but at the same incredibly understated and discreet, The Beautmont is set to become a London institution. The rooms are examples of quiet taste and luxury; if they were a car they’d be the Jaguar XF. There are only 50 of them, along with 13 studios and 10 suites meaning that every client is treated with the utmost attention by the staff. Art lovers will relish staying in ‘ROOM’, the hotel’s most striking suite, which is located inside a custom-made sculpture by Antony Gormley. With its Corbin & King connection, it is unsurprising the Beaumont's Colony Grill has swiftly become one of London's foodie hotspots.
Travelling is like flirting with life. It's like saying, 'I would stay and love you, but I have to go; this is my station.
