Few experiences beat lying in bed and listening to the haunting cry of the fish eagle, lions roaring or the gentle rustling of a breeding herd of elephants nearby. Accommodation in Botswana is mostly under canvas although the word ‘tent’ doesn’t do these large, airy and rather grand structures justice… these are some of the most impressive tents on the planet. Each of the lodges and camps in our Botswana portfolio is small, intimate and exclusive, accommodating an average of just 16-24 guests. These 4-5 star lodges and camps are stylishly furnished with astounding views of the surrounding wilderness and prolific birdlife and wildlife. They all offer every comfort you would expect from a 5 star establishment, from the 300 thread cotton sheets to the finest South African wines and superb dining and, of course, those views. This is even more impressive given the fact that all are located in remote areas, only accessible by light aircraft. Great hospitality, world-class guides and award-winning dining in the midst of one of the last wildernesses on Earth ensures that a stay at these lodges is very special indeed.
