This romantic and idyllic beach holiday works perfectly in combination with a safari or on its own for those wanting to get away for a short time and to escape to a little piece of paradise. Johannesburg is a 11-hour, jet-lag free flight from London. At Johannesburg, you will be met and taken to the check in for your scheduled flight to Vilanculos in Mozambique which is a short 1 hour 40-minute hop away. From here, a surprise awaits as you are whisked off by helicopter to the island of Benguerra, the second largest of the islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago. The helicopter flight is an adventure in itself as you enter a different world, a world where time stands still and where deserted beaches, turquoise waters and magnificent reefs provide some of the best snorkelling and scuba diving in the World.

Spend the next 7 nights at the secluded and eco-chic Azura Benguerra, the perfect coastal escape where you can spend your days with the Indian Ocean as your playground. There is plenty to do here if you can find time to move away from your spot on the beach! Sunset dhow cruises, snorkelling and scuba diving are all available here, as well as horse riding and game fishing. Alternatively, time can be spent simply soaking up the sublime surrounds. On your last day, you will be taken by helicopter back to Vilanculos in time for your flight to Johannesburg to connect with your flight home or to go safari in either Botswana or South Africa.
