Ampersand’s perfect family safari begins with a short hop on a light aircraft into the Okavango and to Xigera Camp. Resembling a huge treehouse, the camp has wooden walkways through the forest and the lovely dining and sitting areas are charming and brightly furnished. The family tented suite is delightful and very spacious with plenty of room for all. There is a large decked verandah where private dinners can be arranged for the family if the kids need to eat early and a private guide can be arranged for the family too. 

Journey onwards with the kids to Machaba Camp on another light aircraft flight and into the magnificent Moremi Game Reserve. The owners of Machaba Camp have three small kids of their own so every effort has gone into making this camp pleasurable for families. The private guided vehicles and boats make game viewing a super inclusive family experience in the capable hands of your professional guide.

Last stop on this wonderful family adventure is Gomoti Plains Camp on the Western fringes of the Okavango. Walking, game drives, boating and mekoros make this a perfect adventure playground for the whole family.
