Onguma Tree Top
Etosha National Park
Onguma Tree Top is the most remote and smallest camp on the Onguma Reserve making it an ideal spot for those wishing to get away from it all. Located in the 20,000 hectare Onguma Reserve, it is perfectly located close to Etosha National Park. There are only 4 tents here, each raised on stilts amongst the trees making it a magical place for the seasoned safari-lover.
Each of the 4 tented rooms overlook the floodlit waterhole in front of camp. They are built of canvas with thatched roofs and furnished to a high standard in muted browns and greens contrasting with the crisp white linen on the large comfy beds. The en-suite bathrooms are luxurious and there is an outside shower with a view for those balmy summer African evenings.
All of the rooms connect via a raised wooden walkway to the main areas which comprise a dining room and comfy lounge with a wood-burning stove and well stocked bar.
Activities from Onguma Tree Top include guided morning and afternoon game drives in Etosha National Park as well as sundowner drives on the Onguma Reserve. Guided bush walks are also on the safari menu for those wishing to stretch their legs. Lastly, there is a water-hide which makes an ideal place to sit and watch the game coming to drink whilst enjoying a chilled glass of wine.
