7 Koppies is an impressive 5-bedroom farmhouse in the heart of The Winelands. Surrounded by 125-acres of fynbos and dramatic views of the valleys and mountains beyond, this secluded home-from-home is ideal for families and groups of friends. The location could not be more perfect; over 35 restaurants and 30 wineries are within a 15-minute drive of the house, as well as it being just a 10-minute drive from the centre of picturesque Franschhoek. There is also easy access to a number of outdoor activities such as walking trails, mountain biking, horse-riding, golf and fishing.

The house itself has been beautifully furnished in a relaxed farmhouse manner. The main room is a large open plan kitchen, living and dining room with a double-height ceiling. Surrounded on three sides by windows, it is light and airy, and with a dining table that can seat up to 16 adults, there is plenty of space for entertaining. Large French-doors lead onto the Sunset Veranda, which as the name suggest, is the best spot in the house to watch the incredible sunsets. Beyond the veranda is the lawn, which leads down to the 25-metre infinity pool which has the most dramatic views. There is also the breakfast terrace, braai area, vegetable patch and orchard.

There are four double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom and seven bathrooms. Each bedroom offers stunning views, whether it be over the orchard and vegetable patch, the pool and valley, or Bakenkop and Simonsberg mountains. The Garden bedroom on the ground floor is ideal for anybody who has difficulty climbing stairs, and the charming Mountain bedroom in the attic is a triple room and perfect for children.
