When to go: Zimbabwe
Although Zimbabwe is located in the tropics, temperate conditions prevail all your round as the climate is moderated by altitude and the inland position of the country. The hot and dry season is from August to October with the rainy season beginning normally in November and lasting until March. Zimbabwe is beautiful all year although the best months for safaris tend to be better in August and September.
British Airways offer direct flights from London to Johannesburg (duration 11.5 hours), located in the East of South Africa. On arrival in Johannesburg, there are regular daily flights to either Victoria Falls or Harare of around 2 hours duration. If you are combining a holiday with Cape Town, there are also regular flights direct to Victoria Falls making Victoria Falls a great combination with the Western Cape of South Africa.
Please contact your GP or travel health specialist to check what vaccinations you require.

You’ll need a visa to visit Zimbabwe. You can get a visa from the Zimbabwean Embassy in London or on arrival in Zimbabwe. Most tourists use the visa on arrival service; take enough cash with you in small notes to pay for your visa at the airport. You can also apply for a visa online before travel.
