Shinta Mani Club
Shinta Mani Club is a boutique hotel created by acclaimed architect Bill Bensley and showcases 39 contemporary designed rooms and public spaces in an Angkorian-inspired design. You would imagine that due to its size it would have many more rooms, but it has managed to keep it exclusive and keep each room to a very good size. Walking around the hotel gives the feeling that you are walking around a modern temples, with it's grand pillars throughout. All 39 rooms come with all of the expected facitilies and the room categies increase in size and especially with the quality of the bathroom. Artwork showcasing the images of Angkor complements the modern, minimalist and chic interiors which also feature handcrafted lamps and accessories. They have a Foundation located within the hotel and is a leader in responsible tourism through its not for profit component the Shinta Mani Foundation. They focus on the three core areas of education, small business start-ups and health care for those unable to get full education and it's inspiring to see. The swimming pool is quite small, but beautiful. With it's central location and great design, it definitely makes it a leader in the boutique hotels in Siem Reap.
