Located behind the Royal Palace in the historical center of Phnom Penh, the Plantation urban resort & spa is a top option in the bustling capital. The reception building dates back to the thirties and was built by the French to be an administration connected to the Royal Palace nearby. This building was significantly modified in the sixties and then transformed into the Ministry of Labour. Now a hotel spread over half a hectare, the Plantation hosts 70 rooms, two swimming pools, one of which is quite small, a restaurant, two bars, a gym, a meeting room and even a luxurious rooftop suite - our favourite room of the hotel. The Deluxe Pool View Rooms are also excellent due to their size and the views they have. Staying here you takes you away from the rush of the city and into the serenity of The Plantation, with all of the benefits of being very central.
