A throwback to Chinese communist architecture albeit with a few colourful Tibetan murals, this hotel located downtown is convenient for the sites and market area. A vast lobby leads to a dining area where the food is maninly Tibetan and rather average. The bedrooms are standard but fine for a night or two.
