Based on James’ experiences and those of our clients, we recommend doing the following:

Spend a few days in India before going to Vana. This allows you to recover from the journey, adjust to the time difference and adapt one’s body clock. Treatments work best on a rested body, if you want to be mindful about the effects the treatment are having on you, it is very difficult to feel this coming straight off a long haul journey. We therefore recommend a stay at the Oberoi Delhi where you can rest and recover from the journey, without worrying about missing treatments.
Reach Vana as soon as you can in the morning. You will have a health assessment on arrival, after which they will create your programme for your stay. If you arrive early, the assessment and programme can be done that same day, which is the best possible way to start your retreat!
Return home from Vana as soon as you can after your stay. At the end of your retreat you will be filled with excitement and resolve to start a healthier life – take full advantage of this extra enthusiasm, energy and drive!

Day 1 - The Oberoi New Delhi - Delhi
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Optional afternoon tour of Delhi.
Day 2 - The Oberoi New Delhi - Delhi
Spend the day at leisure with car & driver at disposal. Evening sunset at Humayun's Tomb.
Day 3 - Six Senses Vana - Dehradun
Morning transfer to Dehradun. Your arrival will coincide with your wellness consultation. Spend the rest of the day enjoying Vana's dedicated programmes, group activities and world-class facilities.

Day at leisure for treatments and activities.
