At Ampersand we like to do things differently, so on this itinerary you won’t find any one night stops and there are certainly no large hotels; it’s boutique and character properties all the way. Perfect if you want a mix of the main sights along with truly rural experiences in the beautifully romantic desert state of Rajasthan.

Our Boutique Rajasthan tour is an ideal option if you value intimacy, are interested in days relaxing in the wilderness, wish to visit quaint rural settlements, but still want to take in the most evocative sights of Rajasthan; a holiday for true romantics at heart. Start with the beautiful lake city of Udaipur staying at the incredibly chic RAAS Devigarh, followed by the pretty settlement of Narlai where your accommodation is a lovingly resorted 17th Century Country Manor which blends perfectly with the setting. The pomp and majesty of Jodhpur follows where you’ll stay at the luxurious RAAS hotel where the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort takes command of your view up ahead. The reservoir at Nimaj is one of Rajasthan's loveliest and most serene spots and RAAS Chhatra Sagar, with its stunning lakeside camp is equally memorable with beautiful countryside and birdlife surrounding you.

The trip is rounded off with a three night stay in the wonderful Samode Haveli in Jaipur. Agra and the Taj Mahal, or even a jaunt to try to spot a tiger in Ranthambore, can easily be added to this tour.

Day 1 - RAAS Devigarh - Delwara
Land in Delhi and catch a connecting flight to Udaipur. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 2 - RAAS Devigarh - Delwara
Spend the morning at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Udaipur followed by boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 3 - RAAS Devigarh - Delwara
Morning sightseeing visit to Nagda & Eklinji. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 4 - Rawla Narlai - Narlai
Drive to Narlai visiting Ranakpur Temples and Kumbalgarh Fort en-route. Afternoon leisure.
Day 5 - Rawla Narlai - Narlai
Morning and afternoon Leopard drives.
Day 6 - Brij Lakshman Sagar - Raipur
Morning drive to Pali. Spend the rest of day at leisure.
Day 7 - Brij Lakshman Sagar - Raipur
Enjoy the morning at leisure. Afternoon Village drive.
Day 8 - RAAS Jodhpur - Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Afternoon city walk.
