Begin your tour in Delhi, discovering the city’s many layers of history and architecture, and exploring a world of contrasts; from the bustling Chandni Chowk of Old Delhi to the tree-lined avenues around Connaught Place of New Delhi. You will be staying at The Imperial, a landmark hotel located in the heart of New Delhi, exuding style and elegance. From Delhi, continue on to Agra home to one of India’s iconic sights – the majestic Taj Mahal, the jewel in the Mughal crown, and the impenetrable Agra Fort. The Oberoi Amarvilas is situated in the most phenomenal location, just 600 metres from the Taj Mahal, and is the best hotel in Agra, renowned for its unsurpassed luxury and style.
From Agra you will continue into Rajasthan where you will have the chance to track elusive tigers in Ranthambore National Park staying at SUJÁN Sher Bagh, an uber-luxurious tented camp. Next on the itinerary is the regal Rajput city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, with its massive forts and palaces, elephants and phenomenal shopping. Here you will stay in the former residence of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Rambagh Palace, offering a luxurious stay in a soft, relaxing environment away from the bustling city centre of Jaipur. Your journey will end at the beautiful and tranquil lake city of Udaipur. Staying in a 273-year-old white marble palace, floating like a mirage in the centre of the serene and glassy Lake Pichola, the Taj Lake Palace is possibly India’s most romantic hotel, and one of our favourites in Rajasthan.
