The Dalai Lama at Vana

Here are the pictures of the incredible day on which James had the great privilege to meet HH The Dalai Lama, at Vana in Dehradun. In his lecture he spoke about happiness and how to a great extent it is reliant on one's ability to be compassionate to all living beings.

In James' words... "I asked him "how can one be more compassionate in one's daily life?" He gave various suggestions but what I found most interesting was that he explained that compassion is something that one can learn and is greatly developed through practice and training. He has recommended governments around the world that it should form part of the national curriculum in all schools. Such practical advice which I hope we will start putting into practice."
