Following extensive renovations, The Oberoi New Delhi reopened its doors on 1st January 2018, with its legendary hospitality, spacious accommodation and luxury interiors by New York designer, Adam Tihany.
The newly refurbished hotel comprises of 220 spacious rooms and suites, with interiors inspired by a contemporary interpretation of Sir Edwin Lutyens’ New Delhi architecture, adorned with teakwood floors, walk-in closets and luxurious Italian marble bathrooms. The large ceiling height windows provide spectacular views of the Delhi Golf Course on one side and the historical UNESCO World Heritage Site Humayun's Tomb on the other. They are also equipped with a state-of-the-art iPad interface system which controls various functions in the room including unlocking the door, controlling lights, blinds, in-room temperature and TV channels. All rooms are enabled with 24-hour butler service and in room dining facilities.
There are a number of dining options at The Oberoi, New Delhi, including the city’s all-time favourite, 360°, now back with an exciting new look. Omya, a gastronomic delight serving cuisine from across the Indian subcontinent, and Baoshuan with an innovative, modern Chinese menu. Cirrus 9 is the stylish rooftop bar, the only one in the city, and it serves delicious traditional cocktails with a unique twist (kaffir lime and chilli mojito is a firm favourite). The sweeping views over New Delhi, accompanied by the chilled house tunes played by an in-house DJ make this the coolest bar in town and a glamourous crowd are making this their go to on a weekend. There is also Enoteca, the temperature-controlled wine cellar that offers a specially curated selection of fine wines and champagnes, The Club Bar and the new Cigar Lounge, and The Oberoi Patisserie & Delicatessen.
For those looking to relax and unwind, head to The Oberoi Spa, a haven of peace and tranquillity, offering Ayurveda-inspired treatments, aromatherapy, Eastern, Western and Oberoi massage treatments. Spa facilities include private treatment rooms, each with an en-suite aromatic steam cubicle and private garden views. There are also indoor and outdoor heated pools and a fitness centre with state-of-the-art gym equipment. Complimentary yoga is also available in the mornings.
The hotel is 30 minutes from Delhi’s Domestic Airport and 45 minutes from the International Airport.
