Stanley Safari Lodge
Victoria Falls (Zambia)
Set overlooking the ravishing Zambezi Valley with the spray of Victoria Falls in the distance, Stanley Safari Lodge offers a taste of authentic Africa and the glamour of a bygone era. It is a small and intimate lodge with just 10 uniquely designed thatch-roof chalets constructed of teak and local stone. There are 6 base category ‘Cottages’ which are beautiful and cosy, with a choice of closed or open structures, and all have incredible valley views over unspoilt bush.
Stanley Safari Lodge has just 4 suites, each with their own private deck and plunge pool, lounge area and bathroom with bath and separate shower. The Honeymoon Suite and Family Suite are open suites, and the Livingstone Suite and Stanley Suite are closed structures and have a more colonial style. From every room you can admire the spray of the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River and some breath-taking African sunsets.
The lodge’s stunning infinity pool is set at the heart of the lodge overlooked by the main lodge and it is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and soak up the ravishing views. There are very well kept lawns to relax on with plenty of seating and shade. In the main house there is a cosy colonial-style lounge with fireplace. Cuisine here has a French flair with an African twist and there is a well-stocked wine cellar. Meals can be served alfresco, by the swimming pool, down in the wine cellar or in the privacy of your room.
A great choice for exploring the falls, Stanley Safari Lodge is located on a hill bordering Zambia’s Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, just 3km from the mighty Victoria Falls, a 10-minute drive away. Other activities include sunset river cruises, white water rafting, bungee jumping, abseiling, canoeing, helicopter flights or a relaxing riverside massage.
