The Tamarind Hut
The Tamarind Hut is a simple but luxurious house on the outskirts of Galle. Made from traditional wattle and daub and a palm roof, the veranda looks across an acre of coconut and breadfruit trees, with rice paddie fields in the distance. The hut is self-catering and has two bedrooms, which are furnished with traditional furniture and textiles. There is also a house boy and gardener who will carry out day to day chores other than cooking. Please note that there is not hot water at this property.
