Perfectly located at the top of Princes Street, this historical hotel has been part of Edinburgh’s skyline for well over 100 years. Journey on from Edinburgh into the Scottish Highlands where you'll stay at Inverlochy Castle, a grandiose county house hotel set in the foothills of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. In addition to its Michelin-starred restaurant, Inverlochy Castle plays host to a wide range of sporting activities including mountain biking, sailing, archery and abseiling. From Inverlochy Castle travel up to Loch Ness where you will stay at the cosy Loch Ness Lodge. This family-run hotel will make you feel instantly at home and is well placed for a range of sightseeing in the region. Take a boat ride on Loch Ness and visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle or alternatively spend your first afternoon at leisure. The following day visit Culloden Battlefield, the famous site of the last bloody battle of the Jacobite Rising. For your remaining time you may wish to take a day trip to either the Isle of Skye and Eileen Donan Castle or spend the day exploring at your leisure. Your next desintation will be Alladale Wilderness Lodge & Reserve, a remote and beautiful retreat set in a landscape of dramatic glens, lochs and forests. Spend two nights at this idyllic property before returning to Inverness for your flight home.
