Lamp no Yado
Noto

Lamp no Yado is a highly exclusive, remote 'ryokan' retreat at the northern tip of the Noto Peninsula. Each of the fourteen rooms are designed to resemble traditional fisherman's dwellings from the outside, with distinctive black-tiled roofs.

All of them face the Sea of Japan around a secluded bay, where the wilds of nature can be enjoyed from the comfort of luxurious interiors combining wood and tatami mat traditional features with modern comforts. The communal baths have been built within a cave looking out to sea - a rare experience. Sumptuous 'kaiseki' multi-course traditional dinners strongly feature local sea catch including crab. Lamp no Yado also has its owns star observatory as well as promontory constructed over the cliff-edge to get you as close to nature as possible.
