Ampersand Travel has been creating thoughtful, beautifully executed journeys across Asia and Africa since 2003. We work with well-travelled, curious clients who care about how and where they travel, and we design trips that are personal, well-judged and meticulously put together.
We are a small team by design. That means high standards, real responsibility and a genuinely collaborative way of working. Everyone here is trusted to use their judgement, take ownership of their work and contribute to the business as a whole. We value experience, good taste, attention to detail and the ability to think clearly under pressure.
Our long-standing relationships on the ground give us access to exceptional hotels, guides and experiences, but it’s how we put those pieces together that defines us. We take pride in getting the details right, communicating well with clients, and delivering trips that feel seamless from first conversation to return home.
If you enjoy working with autonomy, care about quality over volume, and want to be part of a close-knit, high-performing team, Ampersand is a place where you can do your best work, and be trusted to get on with it.
If you don’t see a role that fits, you’re welcome to send a CV and covering note to info@ampersandtravel.com.

What we’re looking for
- At least three years’ experience in a client-facing travel sales role
- A demonstrable track record of conversion
- Commercial common sense and strong attention to detail
- Calm, organised and good-humoured under pressure
- Clear, confident written and spoken English
- Comfortable with numbers and systems
- Well travelled, curious, and able to compare hotels and experiences with perspective
- An interest in culture, design, food and living well
