Bagan Lodge
Bagan
Owned by the Apple Tree brand, who also have The Metropole Hue in Vietnam, Bagan Lodge it is part of a breed of hotels in Burma (Myanmar) which provides luxury, style and boutique accommodation.
The resort design stays loyal to the natural surroundings of Bagan, and villas are reminiscent of a 1920s hunting lodge with a glamping-style sweeping white tented roofs. The interiors provide guests with privacy and a cool escape from the heat, and outside are large verandahs looking out to other villas, making the property feel sociable. The 82 villas are extremely spacious and comfortable, with high quality materials and exceptional furnishings. For larger groups the suites are an excellent option featuring two separate bedrooms, a shared living area and bathroom. There is a large swimming pool situated in the centre of the hotel, pool bar and restaurant, and the spa offers a variety of treatments. The gym is also very well-equipped.
Positioned on the fringes of New Bagan, it is a wonderful haven to return to after visiting the incredible Bagan temples; Bagan Lodge is a modern resort which manages to tastefully complement its age-old environment. There is good strength Wi-fi available in the whole hotel.
