Victoria Falls Safari Club is warm-hearted lodge with a camp-like ambience, with staff who make guests feel very much at home. Located just 4kms from Victoria Falls, it has 20 rooms including 16 Club Rooms and 4 Club Suites. All rooms have sliding glass doors opening out onto a private balcony to enjoy uninterrupted views of the bush and a watering-hole where herds of elephant gather to drink at sunset. The Club Suites offer the same facilities as the Club Rooms, but also include a spacious adjacent sitting room.

There is a simple and laid-back feel to the property, but there is every comfort and mod con you could need. The setting of the lodge is absolutely stunning and perfect for families who enjoy the feeling of safety a bigger lodge offers without the creatures of the jungle coming too close – whilst not sacrificing expansive views over the natural surroundings. The main thatched lounge is decorated in earthy tones with squishy leather sofas, and it leads out to the open-air restaurant and viewing deck. There is also a swimming pool available at the connecting lodge. A highlight of a stay at Victoria Falls Safari Club is their special The Boma dinner; a spectacle of an evening which ends in a crescendo of drums and dancing. 

You either get the point of Africa or you don’t. What draws me backyear after year is that it is like the world with the lid off.
