This 12 day tour takes you to England's most interesting and scenic sites while staying at a selection of beautiful properties. In London stay at Blake's, which can boast of being the world's first boutique hotel. While in the capital visit London's must-see sites and tailor tours to your interests, be it art, architecture or afternoon tea. Move on to Cambridge where you will visit the university's majestic colleges and quads, and go punting on the River Cam. From Cambridge, transfer on to Oxford where you will visit the locations of famous films, from Harry Potter to Brideshead Revisted. Moving on, spend two days in Georgian Bath where you have the opportunity to bathe in the natural spring waters, browse the town's scenic streets and visit the Jane Austin museum. Before moving on to the Lake District, spend a night in Stratford-upon-Avon where you'll get the chance to watch a performance at the impressive Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Once in the Lake District take a few days to relax. Walking, riding or kayaking will all be on offer. Alternatively, spend a few days curled up in front of a log fire at Gilpin Lodge; a cosy and beautifully designed boutique hotel.
