From Bhutan to Thailand’s Best Beach with Aman Resorts
14 days from £12,500 for 2024 per person
Combining the best of two very different worlds, this stunning itinerary transports you from the remote Bhutanese Himalayas to the cerulean warm waters of the Andaman Sea with the exclusive and luxurious Aman Resorts.
Spend your first week in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan in the lap of luxury, exploring Punakha's famed Dzong, hiking in Gangtey's sweeping valley and delving into the cultural history of the tranquil and alpine Paro valley - the site of the remarkable cliff-hugging Tiger's Nest monastery. Your second week will be some much-needed rest and relaxation in dreamy, tropical Phuket. You can choose to relax in your villa or on the palm fringed beach, enjoying dramatic views over the Andaman Sea, or alternatively, go diving or snorkelling in the many marine parks.
Both Thailand and Bhutan are at their best between October and April with crystal clear views in Bhutan and a guaranteed burst of sunshine in Thailand.
This is purely a suggested itinerary so can be booked as it is, or used as a starting point for creating your own luxury tailor-made tour of Bhutan and Thailand. To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.
