As it names suggest, Camp Moremi is a King amongst the people and guests alike! Based close to Xakanaxa Lagoon in the very centre of the Moremi Game Resrve, wildlife here competes with the best in Africa with frequent sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. For a more gentle and serene safari, take a breath-taking boat ride to explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon where you can encounter a sleeping pod of hippo or perhaps just sit and marvel at a malachite kingfisher. 

The Camp has been generously finished and gives a feeling of a bygone era with its old leather trunks, beautiful old club, immaculate rugs and starched white linen table cloths. Livingstone would have been very comfortable here!

The two dining areas both serve world class buffets. Breakfast, brunch and high tea are served in a thatched boma, dinner is savoured under the trees in the dining room and nightcaps are enjoyed besides the warmth of a glowing fire.

There are twelve luxurious East African-style tents, each one on a raised deck and with en-suite bathroom. For families, there is one well-appointed family tented suite also raised on a platform and with an en-suite bathroom. Handmade biodegradable soaps, a small safe and goodies in the bathroom… they have thought of everything!

As you would expect, safari activities are focused on game viewing by game drives in an open 4 x 4 or in a specially adapted boat. A very special place indeed.
